How to Share a Muse Referral Code

Sharing takes under a minute. Muse calls these invite codes; many people search for them as referral codes. The steps below are the same either way.

Step 1: Find your code in the app

Open the Muse app and use its Invite button — that is where your code lives. If you have already joined Muse, your code is there to pass on. Do not guess the code from memory and do not post a code someone else gave you unless it is yours to share.

Step 2: Copy it exactly

Copy the code character for character. Codes are strings of letters, digits, and sometimes underscores or dashes; one wrong character makes every attempt fail, and the people who try it will report it dead. Tap the code to copy it rather than retyping it.

Step 3: Post it on the wall

Open the homepage and use the submission form, the first section on the page. Enter the code and the uses-left count (default 30). If you are not sure how many uses remain, post your best estimate — honesty here is what makes the wall useful, and reports from other users correct the count over time. Hit publish and the code joins the free pool immediately. No account, no approval queue, no fee.

Step 4: Know what happens next

Your code rotates through the free pool, may appear as a backfilled card on page 1, and may be picked as the random hero card. Anyone who copies it redeems it in the Muse app (Settings > Redeem token), and the redeem entry is only available within 48 hours of joining Muse — so a code shared today helps someone joining today, not someone who joined weeks ago.

Step 5: Keep the count honest

If people tell you the code is dead, or you know its uses are gone, the honest move is to let the count reflect that. Codes at zero uses are marked expired and stop being copyable, and codes reported dead three times are taken down automatically. If your code was reported dead by mistake and it genuinely still works, re-submit it with an accurate uses-left count.

What not to do when sharing

Do not promise anyone a specific reward for using your code — rewards vary by account and this site promises no amount. Do not ask anyone for their password or account access; sharing a code should never require anything else from the other person. And do not spam the same code across every channel at once: one honest posting on the wall, where people are already looking for codes, beats ten drive-by posts.
